Nobody Ever Notices…

Who do you do things for?

What is your motivation for your good deeds?

Why do you serve God?

Why do you pray?

Why do you give?

Why do you go to church?

Why do you teach a class?

There are innumerable reasons why Christians do the above but a servant of Jesus Christ has only one motive and it is found in Romans 1:9 – “For God is my witness…” Paul’s witness was God. God witnesses everything we do. He is watching right now.

Nothing you do for the LORD will go unnoticed and only those things done in the Spirit will be rewarded for the flesh profiteth nothing (John 6:63).

Job 16:19 – “Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.”

Proverbs 15:3 – “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

Christian remember today, and everday, that God is watching. He knows what you have done. I don’t say this to scare you. I say this so that as you serve the LORD everyday on the job, in your home, and in your local church and nobody else takes notice – God does. He will not forget one thing.

1Co 3:14 – “If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon (Christ as Savior is the foundation), he shall receive a reward.”

God know all of our works – He is witness to it. Don’t live for the applause of men but wait for the reward from God. The right motivation for everything we do is to glorify God because He is watching and worthy!
