Romans 11:33-36 – O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
The Apostle Paul comes to this point after writing some of the most amazing truths ever, some of which are to wonderful to comprehend, he says “O the depth of the riches of both the wisdom and knowledge of God.”
God’s ways are higher than our ways. God’s wisdom is eternal and perfect. His knowledge is complete. He sees the picture from beginning to end. Sometimes we read of His judgments and ways in the Bible and think this doesn’t make sense or seem fair. That is because His judgments are unsearchable and His ways goes beyond our comprehension. We can never fully understand “why” God does what He does.
The Christian needs to have unwavering faith in His heavenly Father that all His judgments and ways are RIGHT for His children.
Psalm 119:75 – I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right,
And that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
No one has ever counseled the Lord. No on has ever first given to Him. No, as a matter of fact it is of Him, and through Him, and to Him that all things exist and have their being.
That being said let the end of verse 36 be true in your life – let there be glory to Him for ever. Amen.
