If you have not pronounced judgment upon your old life, the life and love of Jesus cannot reveal itself in your life – there is no room for it.
II Cor 5:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
II Cor 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
For the life of Christ to be evident in our life, and the love of Christ to constrain us we must pronounce judgment upon ourselves. That judgment is this – that we were dead in our trespasses and sins and that when Christ died for them, we died with him. Then when he rose we rose with him, to live for Him only, as new creatures.
